This policy explains what information Otter Peps collects, how we use it and how you can manage your choices.
Last updated: September 20, 2026.
Otter Peps is operated by OP Industries. References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean OP Industries.
Information you give us
- Account details: first and last name, full legal name, email, phone number, entity type and any organization information you provide.
- Qualification records: age and research-use acknowledgments, typed signature, acceptance time and copies of the policies presented when you registered.
- Orders and support: shipping and billing details, products and quantities, payment status and references, fulfillment records and messages you send to the team.
- Communication choices: separate email marketing, order-text and marketing-text preferences, plus the wording, destination, time and source of consent or withdrawal.
Do not send medical records, government identification, passwords or full payment credentials in support messages. We do not need that information to answer ordinary account or order questions.
Information from the website
Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested pages to deliver the site, investigate errors and limit abuse. Account sessions use cookies, and browser storage keeps the shopping cart and relevant referral information between visits.
We use these technologies to operate the site. We do not currently use optional advertising, session-replay or additional analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this notice and provide any required choices before enabling them. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or ordering.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account, verify your email and retain the researcher acknowledgments you submit.
- Process orders and payments, arrange delivery, resolve problems and keep accounting records.
- Send necessary account and order emails, and send optional promotions only under the preferences you choose.
- Prevent fraud and misuse, investigate technical issues, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Service providers and disclosures
We share the information needed to perform a service with our hosting and security providers (AWS and Cloudflare), transactional email provider (Resend), support inbox provider (Proton Mail), applicable payment providers and shipping services. Payment services handle payment details under their own terms and privacy notices. Staff access is limited according to their role.
If text messaging is introduced, the messaging provider will process the phone number, consent and delivery information needed for that program. We do not sell or rent personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile opt-in information and text-message consent are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and investigate fraud. A business transfer may include necessary business records subject to applicable privacy obligations; it does not authorize a new party to use your text-message consent for its own marketing.
Email and text-message choices
Creating an account or providing a phone number does not sign you up for promotions. Email marketing, order texts and marketing texts are separate choices. You can withdraw optional consent in your account or contact us for help. Necessary account, security and order emails are distinct from marketing.
Text messaging is not active in this release. If a program becomes available, enrollment will explain its sender, purpose, variable message frequency, possible message/data charges and STOP/HELP instructions. Consent will be optional and will not be a condition of purchase.
See Text messaging information for the program status and enrollment conditions.
Retention and security
We keep information for the purposes described here, including operating accounts, fulfilling orders, meeting accounting and legal obligations, resolving disputes and retaining evidence of consent or withdrawal. Retention depends on the type of record and those obligations. A deletion request may not remove records we are required to keep, and backup copies may remain until they expire.
We use HTTPS, password hashing and restricted staff access. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access; never include your password in the message.
Your requests and choices
You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or ask about communication preferences by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We may verify that the request comes from the account holder before disclosing or changing data.
Available rights and response deadlines depend on applicable law. We will explain any lawful reason we cannot complete a request. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent you from using the account or affect messages needed to service an existing order.
Age restrictions and international access
The service is intended for qualified researchers age 21 and older. If you believe someone under 21 has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
The site is operated from the United States. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Access from another country does not change the shipping destinations available for an order.
Updates to this policy
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Material changes will be communicated as required, and any new consent will be requested where necessary.
